Xbox Games with Gold May Update Includes Saints Row: The Third

Xbox Live Gold Members will be coming to Steelport this May. Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live announced via his blog earlier today the May update for Xbox Live’s monthly Games with Gold service. Dust: An Elysian Tail and Saints Row: The Third will be available to Xbox Live Gold members for free next month.

Wolfenstein: The New Order Gameplay Trailer shows Stealth vs. Mayhem

The new Wolfenstein game will allow players to mix up their approach. A new gameplay trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order was posted today by Bethesda Softworks on their YouTube channel. The trailer shows off some of the gameplay in the upcoming first-person-shooter.

Square Enix Registers Just Cause 3 Domain


A third game in the Just Cause series may in development. Square Enix officially registered a Just Cause 3 domain today according to via a tweet from Superannuation. The registering of a domain name doesn’t qualify as an official announcement, but if confirms that a publisher is at least, considering development. The tweet also speculates that Just Cause 3 may be revealed at E3 this year.

The Walking Dead Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead will be coming to next-gen consoles later this Spring. Gamestop has listed Playstation 4 and Xbox One ports of The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition. According to the website, both ports are priced at $29.99 and will hit shelves on June 17.

Nintendo Announces Mario Golf: World Tour Season Pass

For the first time ever, Nintendo will be offering a Season Pass with one of their games. Nintendo of America announced in a press release today, that the upcoming 3DS game, Mario Golf: World Tour will be getting a Season Pass for future downloadable content.

Assassin's Creed series hits 73 million

The Assassin’s Creed series is Ubisoft’s best selling franchise. Ubisoft updated their facts and figures page today and thus updated the sales figures of their major gaming franchises. The Assassin’s Creed series sit atop the list with 73 million units sold.

New Prince of Persia in development

Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands

A new Prince of Persia game is in development. According to French gaming website, Le Portail du Jeu Video, the game will be a 2-D platformer and will utilize the UbiArt engine, which was previously used in Rayman Legends and is featured in the upcoming RPG, Child of Light

News this Week: Xbox Spring Sale Begins, Minecraft: PS3 Edition gets a retail edition

Before I get to the news, I have some exciting news to share with you my fellow reader. I recently was hired by  to write news articles every day of the week. Because of the structure of the website, I can’t write articles on the same story for this blog and for the website.

I will now be linking to my posts on Leviathyn when I post an article. This means the current format of my news posts will change but is also means for stuff for you guys. I’ll still be doing my regular content on this blog, such as my Featured Games and my Reviews. Also, please check out Leviathyn, they’ve got some really good articles and we’d appreciate the support.

Minecraft PS3 Edition

Minecraft: PS3 Edition will be hitting shelves next month. Mojang announced via the Playstation Blog today that a physical copy of the smash-hit indie game will be released May 16.

The Wolf Among Us “A Crooked Mile” Review

Over halfway into the season it’s difficult to predict where the story in The Wolf Among Us is headed. The only question is whether that’s a good thing. Telltale Games has delivered an episode that doesn’t hit as hard as previous outings yet holds back almost as much as it gives. As result, “A Crooked Mile” warrants multiple playthroughs more than any episode thus far in either The Wolf Among Us or The Walking Dead. “A Crooked Mile” is closer than ever before to delivering on the promise of a story that is tailored to the way that you play.

News this week: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Announced, The Last of Us coming to the PS4

The Borderlands series will be continuing this fall. Online game retailer GamePointsNow reported today that 2K Australia are developing a new game called Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for last-gen consoles, the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Unfortunately the report is currently unable to be linked to.
